I've been using this brushes since I got them, but prior to that you should wash each brushes to make sure that it's clean and to remove some hair follicles that are supposed to be taken out because it might cause some allergic reaction if you have sensitive skin. Also it has a very strong factory smell that i didn't like, but after washing them it's gone. So you don't have to worry about it.
Quality wise I highly recommend this brushes if you are always in the go because it is handy and it won't clutter inside your bag as it comes with a case. Overall the brushes are pretty awesome because it is soft & easy to clean. The synthetic bristles soak the products easily that you can use both dry & wet products and it won't cause you a headache on blending it on your skin. The most used & my favorite brush to use is the powder brush. For me it's not just for powder as I also use it on applying liquid base foundation and it blends really well. I guess all of these brushes are just made to use in any way you wanted. Just like what I'm doing with the powder brush. After washing them several times already, I saw no shedding. The case is great to have because you can use them as brush holders.
